Do we like all this movement on the screen, not really! There are instances where large graphics and movement to atract attention is needed so we show it.
You should insist that the site represents your business not your designers graphic ability. Clutter or large graphics for their own sake should be avoided.
Customer's demand simple navigation with fast, clean, easy to read pages. Wasting their time will guarantee they leave - quickly!
